Monkey Bread with Dempster's Pull Aparts
OVEN CRANKED TO 350°F. APRON ON. LET’S GET BAKING!
It’s crazy to think that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. It just seems like yesterday we rang in the New Year! Nonetheless, Thanksgiving has to be one of my favourite holidays to celebrate because it involves an abundance of delicious food surrounded by the people you love most. Next to the Turkey, the one thing that people look forward to the most is dessert. This is where my drool-worthy (and easy) monkey bread recipe steps in made with Dempster’s Deluxe Brioche Style Pull-Aparts Rolls.
As Canadians, we pride ourselves on being home to people from all walks of life, all over the world. Bread on the other hand may be universal, but we all enjoy it different based on where we live and where we come from. The values that shape our beautiful country are the same values Dempster’s puts into each and every one of their products. Whether enjoyed with something savoury or sweet, it’s safe to say that the possibilities are endless on things you can make with bread.
Monkey bread is one of those desserts that is super easy to make but can easily be time consuming especially when you have to make the dough from scratch. Taking the stress out of making the dough from scratch, Demspter’s Deluxe Brioche Style Pull-Aparts came to the rescue. The rolls have a hint of sweetness are super fluffy making it the perfect base for this recipe.
Now, let’s get to baking shall we?
THE PROCESS.

Mix cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl. Cut each Dempster’s Pull-Aparts roll into 4 pieces. Place in a large bowl. Pour egg over the bread and toss with your hands. Pour cinnamon sugar over egg/bread mixture and toss with your hands. Place bread mixture in the prepared pan.
Stir melted butter and brown sugar together and pour evenly over the mixture in the pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
Cool slightly in pan. Run a knife around the edges and around the center of the pan to release the monkey bread.
Place an upside down plate over the top of the pan and invert the pan to serve while warm. Enjoy!
